Program

At this event, we will embark upon a four-day journey focused on connection, healing, and reflection. If you want more of these in your life, then this retreat might be exactly what you’ve been looking for!

Our draft schedule can now be viewed here.

Our retreat will include:

Zoom orientations in late December. There’s a lot to learn about New Culture and camp guidelines. By introducing you to key concepts and resources before arrival, you’ll have time to integrate the information earlier and reduce overwhelm.

Opening Circle. Apollo will create the container and help us gather the energy for this event, open up our theme of Manifesting Magic, and start getting to know each other. There will be a mix of paired, small-group, and whole-group activities to help us get curious about each other and share how we relate to our bodies.

Sensual Space - Daily. The sensual space is a warm and inviting space to explore connection and intimacy by engaging all of the senses. Blue Sky and Yanni have created a programming arc to help you safely push your edges. We’ll start with a sensual Puja, then later move on to the Unveiling and the Adoration. As part of our New Year’s Eve festivities, we’ll host some sexy card games!

New Year’s Eve Festivities. Release the old year and your inhibitions! Fuzzy will lead a cathartic New Year’s and Solstice Ritual. ByPo will direct the entire camp in making a group collage and later host a cabaret. The evening will continue with a disco, also hosted by ByPo and others. We’ll conclude with mocktails and a toast bar for the 2025 ball drop.

New Year’s Day.  Sleep in late, and then enjoy a special New Year’s brunch. Reflect on your New Year’s Epiphanies with Apollo and ByPo.

Closing Circle. As our time together comes to a close, Apollo will close the container as we say goodbye and prepare to re-enter the mainstream world.  What gifts will we bring with us from the New Culture New Year’s Celebration?  What will we create in our lives and communities?

Bonus Day. Not ready to head back home yet? Stay an extra day for participant-led activities, organized by Rebo. Everyone who stays gets to decide if they’d like to lead something and what they want to do. Maybe that’s make music, go for a hike, tell stories, or cuddle. Who knows?

Morning Circle – Daily. The camp community comes together for appreciations, announcements, and movement.  Please attend if you can because new information and conversations about emerging issues happen here!

Pods – Daily. Pods are groups of five to six people who meet daily during the event for supportive sharing and listening, as well as discussing topics related to the day’s theme.

ZEGG Forum. The goal of Forum is to reveal what is alive but not known to all. The community sits in a circle, forming a stage for one person at a time to stand and show what is true for them. Facilitators, who are made up of trained members of the New Culture community, can assist the person (or “presenter”) to reveal themselves more deeply. We will have a general forum as well as a topic forum on something that is alive for the camp.

Circling. In circling, we try to gain an understanding of what’s happening for others while maintaining a hold of what is true for ourselves in this present moment. Rebo will lead this relational meditation.
